SALARY : R 523 976.11 per Annum (PL 1)
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 (Matric) plus B.Sc. (Environmental) or B-Tech degree (Environmental) in the relevant to Facilities Management / Horticulture fields. Candidate must have at least 5 years relevant working experience including 2 years in middle Management level. Candidate must be in possession of a valid South African driver’s license preferably Code 8. Must demonstrate a high level of Communication Skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, report writing skills and computer skills. Candidate must not have any criminal record.
DUTIES: Management and short, medium and long-term planning of maintenance operations. Schedule of work and resource planning, maintenance of facilities. Compiles and monitor operational and capital budgets of respective facilities. Ensures that high priority work is accomplished within required timelines. Manages and controls tasks / activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline within the parks and community amenities. Implement and follow up on all Council resolutions. Ensure compliance to Council by-laws.
