Adopted Draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 And Adopted Draft Medium-Term Revenue And Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 To 2024/2025

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Ac, No 32 of 2000, as amended, and the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No 56 of 2003, as amended, that the adopted Draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 and draft Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 to 2024/2025 of the Setsoto Local Municipality are now due for community engagements.

The draft documents, their summaries and annexures were adopted at the council meeting held on the 30 March 2022 and copies are available for the period of 21 days for public comments from 04 April 2022 until 03 May 2022 on the Setsoto Local Municipality’s website, www.setsoto.gov.za as well as the municipal offices and libraries in all towns of the municipality. Communities are hereby requested to submit written submission on the adopted draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 and adopted draft Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 to 2024/2025 by no later than the 29 April 2022.

Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act, 56 of 2003 states:
Section 127
(5) immediately after an annual report is tabled in council in terms of subsection (2), the accounting officer of the municipality must-
(a) in accordance with section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act, 32 of 2000-
(i) make public the annual report; and
(ii) invite the local community to submit representation in connection with the annual report.
Notice is hereby given that the Annual Report 2020/2021 was tabled in council on the 26TH January 2022 and council has, in terms of legislation, referred the Annual Report 2020/2021 to the Municipal Public Accounts Committee for further consideration and public presentation and consultations, of which meetings will be held on the following dates to be published soon.
